It was a bizarre way to lecture the gathering of world leaders at the U.N.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an attempt to illustrate just how close Iran is getting to its own atomic bomb, used the most basic and simplistic prop he could think of - a picture of a bomb.  (Actaully, a simplistic explanation was probably the only way he'd get through to some of these world leaders at the U.N.)

But here it is - half cartoon bomb, half fundraising goal chart.  So where is Iran on their fundraising goal to getting a bomb...

 

And for some reason, his little bomb picture made me think of the old Spy vs. Spy cartoons.  I understand the serious nature of Iran getting a bomb and why Israel is rightly concerned and wants the rest of the world to take the situation seriously.  And that's why it's even more bizarre Netanyahu decided to use such a juvenile, ridiculous prop.
