Big government, that is.  This story is from March of 2012.  Long before the winds and rains of Hurricane Sandy pummeled New York and New Jersey.  But now there are many more homeless people in the area and I wonder if Mayor Bloomberg has any internal conflicts with his big government policies that keep food out of the mouths of hungry people.

Sadly, I know the answer.

I feel for the people of New York who have to put up with this guy.  More accurately, I feel for the people who can take care of themselves and try to take care of others through acts of good will and kindness but are prevented from doing so by a power-hungry statist.  I don't feel sorry for the people who voted for him or Obama.  But I digress.
