The story isn't the story here.  Sure, it's odd that police would make teenage vandal suspects do pushups instead of calling their parents and/or taking them to the police station.

But check out the local reporter at the 1:10 mark.  It's a good thing he showed us exactly what was going on!  I wouldn't have been able to piece the story together without his demonstration.
