Holy crap what a nutjob.  If you don't know, Alex Jones is a radio host based here in Texas.  He also runs the info wars website and is a big time conspiracy theorist.  Fine.  He's also a vocal opponent of the TSA and big government in general (global government as he sees it).  As a result his views and positions occassionally line up with mine, and probably yours. 

But here's a great lesson in how NOT to defend the 2nd Amendment.  Jones had a great opportunity to highlight the absurdity of Piers Morgan's call to ban assault rifles.  Instead, he flew off the rail complaining about 9-11.  But that's what he does.  Now anyone watching CNN who might have been on the fence about new gun control will have this guy as their example of what many gun owners are like.  Great.
