From the this-is-too-dumb-to-be-true file.  A 7 year old faces suspension because he threw an imaginary grenade at an imaginary box at a real school.

This is nuts.  But I have an idea.  Since schools get funding based on the number of kids in a classroom, the school should ask all the students if any of them have an imaginary friend!  Then tell lawmakers they should get more funding due to all the imaginary kids in their school.  You know, since they take imaginary stuff so literally. 

And in your typical bureaucrat administrator response, the superindendent said, "There's a whole student side that we just don't talk about...It's a bit one-sided with the parent's point of view.”

Fine.  If I'm the parent I offer to sign a waiver giving you permission to talk about my son's situation. Please explain to the world why my kid was suspended for throwing an imaginary grenade while playing his imaginary game to save the imaginary world.  If there's another side and the parents are misrepresenting what happened, then let's hear it.
