Mark Kelly and his wife, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who have been some of the more vocal proponents of gun control legislation, including a ban on "assault weapons," recently purchased an AR-15 from a Tucson gun store.
Let's take him at his word that he wasn't buying it for himself and that he was just trying to make a point about how easy it is to buy one. If the Ewok, Wolf Blitzer, had any interest in conducting a worthwhile interview here he would have asked a very simple question:
1. You say you bought this gun because it's important for you to know and have firsthand knowledge about the process when it comes to these types of weapons and gun control. So you're admitting that when you testified before a Senate panel and when you went on all your TV interviews you didn't know what you were talking about?
