Here is a great piece on just how badly the left is beating the right when it comes to social media and uses the filibuster by Texas state senator Wendy Davis this week as an example.
An excerpt: "According to the analytics site Twitter Counter, Davis gained nearly 41,000 followers yesterday — more than Justin Bieber."
I've told you before about Battleground Texas and how the Obama campaign apparatus has set up shop here to make Texas a battleground and ultimately Democrat state sooner rather than later.
So what is the right doing? Good question. They're working, just not as hard, efficiently or competently as the left. I'll have more on that with some interesting guests in the coming weeks.
One quick observation: I follow far more conservative and libertarian people and groups on twitter and facebook than I do lefties. Even so, I sometimes feel as if my feeds are taken over by the left because of how good a job they do manipulating social media. It's community organizing with a keyboard. Beware.
